Lara Stone and Baptiste Giabiconi - partners in crime

Stealing is wrong, but Lara Stone and Baptiste Giabiconi make it look so right. Karl Lagerfeld’s black and white short film ‘Vol de Jour’ shows the two on a Chanel shoplifting spree, decked out head-to-foot in the designs. Even their getaway vehicle is luxurious—a Chanel motorcycle.

Lara Stone and Baptiste Giacobini are the new stylish version of Bonnie and Clyde. Karl Lagerfeld brings us his latest short film, which is called Vol de Jour. Lara and Baptiste are obsessed with the idea of stealing from Chanel stores...

Lara keeps trying on clothes and Baptiste steals everything he can. With a touch of humor, it's a great way of showing the French brand's iconic stores. We'll leave you to enjoy the stylish robbers in Vol de Jour...

Kimora Lee Simmons

tonight i watched germanys next topmodel.
it was quite entertaining especially when the special guest appeared, Kimora Lee Simmons.
i never heard about her, but apparently she was once Karl Lagerfeld's muse.

Kimora Lee Simmons is an American fashion model, author, and the president and Creative Director for Phat Fashions. Formerly the Creative Director of Baby Phat, Simmons became CEO of Phat Fashions after ex-husband Russell Simmons stepped down. A 2007reality television show, Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane, focuses on her life as a mother and CEO of Phat Fashions. She has appeared in music videos and was a judge on the first season of America's Next Top Model. She was scheduled to return to the show as a judge starting with cycle. However, she changed her plans and will not return the show as judge.

By the time she was 10 years old, she was 5-feet 8-inches tall, and became the target of schoolyard taunts and teasing. With no Asian population in her community, she had difficulty fitting in with the mostly black student body who shunned her because of her Asian ancestry. Hoping to boost her confidence, Simmons’ mother enrolled her daughter in a modeling class when she was eleven years old. Two years later, at the age of thirteen, she was discovered by Marie-Christine Kollock (a representative for seminal Paris Agency Glamour) at a Model Search in St. Louis (organized by Kay Mitchell) and sent to Paris. Simmons was awarded an exclusive modeling contract with Chanel and just after her thirteenth birthday, to work under the tutelage of famed Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.
She quickly gained attention in the fashion world when Lagerfeld closed his haute couture show with Simmons, who strutted down the runway decked out as a child bride. “Everything people thought was weird about me before,” Simmons told People Weekly, “was now good”. By age 14, her stature had grown to a height of six feet, and she became a self-professed muse for Lagerfeld.

Kimora Lee Simmons, the New Queen of Conspicuous Consumption

“It’s a wonderful thing I’ve created with you,” Lagerfeld told her , “but now you’re a $5,000-tote-bag-wearing monster, and for that, I am sorry. Now sit down and be quiet!” Kimora requested Tyra Banks as her roommate in one model apartment, and they tried to visit every Häagen-Dazs store in Paris. “She always had the new Prada bag and would laugh at me because mine was from Wal-Mart,” says Banks.

remember ME

yesterday i watched the movie "remember me" in the cinema.
i quite liked the idea of the scenario but although there was no happy end,  it was a cliché in my opinion. i mean i enjoyed the movie indeed, but there will be always a "but".
i was positively surprised that Robert Pattinson played his part very well as the opposite of Edward. My favorite character was his sister, Caitlyn Rund as Alyssa Craig as an eleven years old girl and the only person whom i found quite annoying was Emilie de Ravin as one of the main characters.

♱ Chanel Tattoos ♱

But insiders agreed that Chanel's illusions of chain bracelets (complete with logo pendants, bien sûr) were by far the most wearable option of this trend, so it doesn't come as that big of a surprise that the brand has decided on selling the transfer tattoos, which were developed by creative director Peter Philips.
The 'rocker image' of tattoos will make for an appealing contrast to this spring's otherwise quite romantic theme featuring lots of florals, ruffles, and transparent materials.

Fifty-five different designs, packaged under the name of Les Trompe L'Oeil de Chanel, will start selling online for around $75 and in international department stores such as Selfridges starting March 1.

Dream Loft (Chloë Sevigny)

well, i'm 18 now and i can't stop thinking bout an own apartment and the one place which always comes into my mind when i imagine a perfect place, is Chloë's apartment.

i like that her home is not too much hollywood-like looking and although i can imagine how expensive this apartment must have been and i'm sure that she had somebody to help her with the design, it still looks cosier and closer to reality than all the houses, lofts, etc of other celebrities.

here some pictures:

Chloë Sevigny in her garden with David Cafiero, her decorator and owner of Cafiero Select.

In the living room, below two framed photographs of cult-pop crooner Morrissey, is a 1940s mirrored sideboard, itself framed by two turn-of-the-century Chinese audience chairs. The yellow ceramic lamps are late '50s vintage. All from Cafiero Select.

A country club aesthetic takes a contemporary turn in the entry. Walls are covered in Kelly Wearstler's Imperial Trellis paper, available through Schumacher

Black wall sconces and glossy mouldings add drama to a fresh, green-and-white colour scheme.

"This image has been used as reference for many design projects," says Erin Gates, a Boston interior designer and author of the popular Elements of Style blog. "The rustic wide-plank wood floors and Kelly Wearstler's Imperial Trellis wallpaper are simple, yet a combination you won’t forget! Entryways are a great place to have fun with colour and pattern. They introduce you to a home, so make sure yours makes a statement!"
